SM Sentinel grew out of more than a decade of solar experience.
We did not define the needs of a solar system from behind a desk. Residential installations and the design, construction, maintenance and servicing of business and industrial systems taught us where problems arise and what happens when they are noticed too late.
EXPERIENCE BECAME A SYSTEM
We saw the same pattern repeatedly: the fault was already causing harm, but nobody knew about it yet.
The professional background behind SM Sentinel spans solar systems ranging from small family homes to complex industrial energy solutions. Installation, maintenance and service experience helps us understand not only how a system starts well, but how its operation changes over the years.
In practice, a system may appear operational while already producing less, reporting abnormal values or requiring attention. By the time the owner notices it in a production summary or electricity bill, the lost energy cannot be recovered.
This insight led to SM Sentinel: our monitoring service combines hands-on solar expertise with regular operational checks. It preserves operational history and sends clear notifications about deviations that require attention, so detection does not happen weeks or months later.
